UL-SAT, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Law Entrance Test 2013

· B.Tech. Energy Technology + LLB with emphas on Intellectual Property Rights (6 years)

· B. Tech. Computer Science + LLB with emphasis on Cyber Laws (6 years)

UL-SAT-2013 – Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who would like to apply UPES 2013 should fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

Integrated BA + LLB Programme

· Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (senior secondary) in any stream from recognised board.

· Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks at secondary and senior secondary level in order to apply for admission into Law Colleges

· Students who are appearing in their 10+2 final exam can also apply for UPES 2013 B.A. LL. B (Hons.) 5 year integrated course provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Integrated BBA + LLB Programme:

· Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (senior secondary) in any stream from recognised board.

· Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks at secondary and senior secondary level in order to apply for admission into Law Colleges

· Students who are appearing in their 10+2 final exam can also apply for UPES 2013 BBA LLB (Hons.) 5 year integrated course provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

UL-SAT-2013 – Exam Structure

The UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT) comprises of following sections.

· Quantitative & Numerical Ability 40

· Logical Reasoning 40

· Legal General Knowledge 40

· Legal Aptitude 40

The candidates shortlisted in the written exam are called for further rounds of Group Discussion & Interview.

UL-SAT-2013 – How to apply

Online Application

Applicants are required to download form online by logging to the official website at http://upes.ac.in/application-form.html. Applicants are required to fill in the downloaded application form completely and send it via mail to the concerned address along with the Demand Draft for prescribed application fees.

Offline Way

Applicants can purchase the admission form from office of UPES in various cities by making payment of Rs.1500 in cash for prescribed application fees. Applicant should send in the completely filled application forms and other documents at the address mentioned in the prospectus.

Applicants can also obtain the form by post by sending a request letter along with DD of Rs 1600/- for prescribed application fees. Applicant should mention his/her name, phone number and address on the back of DD. The DD should be drawn in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, and payable at New Delhi
