MAT – Management Aptitude Test by AIMA 2013

The management Aptitude Test (MAT 2013) will be conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) as a pre requisite entrance test for students for taking admission in various management institutes that offer post graduate management courses.

MAT 2011 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants should fulfil the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for the MAT 2011 Exam.

· Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

· Applicants who are appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification examination and are awaiting results may also apply; however such applicants are given only provisional admission and they need to submit a certificate of passing graduation later.

MAT 2011 Reservation Criteria

· 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes(SC)

· 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe(ST)

· 27% for OBC candidates belonging to Non-Creamy layer

· 3% seats are reserved for Differently abled (DA) and PWD candidates

Structure of MAT exam

The time duration of MAT exam is usually 150 minutes and it comprises of 200 questions. The students have the option for selecting either paper-pencil test or the computer based test.

Syllabus for MAT

The structure of the MAT exam is as mentioned below.

Candidates are given one mark for every correct answer.

There are three ways for applying to MAT exams.

· Applicants can get a form along with MAT bulletin/CD by paying Rs 1200/- at selected branches of Bank of Baroda

· Applicants can get a form along with MAT bulletin/CD by paying Rs 1050/- at selected Study Centres of AIMA. The DD should be drawn in name of respective institution. The DD details should be entered online along with the registration.

· Applicants can also register online by visiting the site at www.aima-ind.org and make the payment via credit card.

Applicant has to submit the application form online and submit the details of Demand Draft (in case DD is drawn for making payment). After the submission of form, the candidate will usually receive a registration number that should be saved for future reference.

The exam structure of MAH-CET includes 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and time duration available is 150 minutes. The questions cover the following topics.

· Logical/Abstract Reasoning

The distribution of Marks in MAH- CET is as follows:

· Verbal ability: 35

· Reading comprehension: 15

· Analytical reasoning: 51

· Verbal reasoning: 20

· Non-verbal reasoning: 30

· Quantitative analysis: 14

· Data interpretation: 20

· Data sufficiency: 15

There is no negative marking for marking incorrect answers.

Apart from written exam, the shortlisted candidates are called for GD and Personal interview.

How to Apply for MAH- CET

Online Application

Applicants are required to apply online by logging to the official website at www.dte.org.in/mba. Candidate should keep their digital photo and signature ready as they are required to upload their photo and signature as per the provided instructions on the site. Candidate will receive an application ID and Password and they should preserve the Application kit.

Costs of application form for general category candidates is Rs.1, 150/-

Costs of application form for reserved category candidates is Rs 950/-

Applicants are required to take printout of the application form from the official website. This printed application form should be send via mail to the Office along with the DD (Demand Draft) of entrance fee. Candidate should take care to complete the application in his/her own handwriting.

MAH Medical CET – Maharashtra Medical Common Entrance Test 2013

The Maharashtra Medical Common Entrance Test 2013 is conducted every year by the Government of Maharashtra as a prerequisite entrance exam for students for taking admissions in Medical courses in the Colleges in Maharashtra.

MAH Medical CET score is accepted by various medical colleges in Maharashtra. This exam is either administered by the relevant authority on its own or it is conducted in collaboration with professional Agencies.

MAH Medical CET 2013 – Important Dates (Tentative)

· Dates of availability of CET Forms: By 2nd-4th week of March, 2013

· Final Date for receipt of CET forms: By 4th week of March, 2013

· Date of CET exam: By 2nd week of May, 2013

· Announcement of CET Results: By Mid June, 2013

MAH Medical CET 2013 – Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants who would like to apply for MAH Medical CET should fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

· Candidates should have passed the XIIth standard exams from recognised Central or State board with at least 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology

· Students who are appearing in their standard XIIth exams can also apply for MAH Medical CET Exam 2013 provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria the time of admission.

· Candidates should be at least 17 years of age.

MAH Medical CET 2013 – Pattern of Examination:

The MAH Medical CET 2013 comprises of two papers and time duration of each paper is 90 minutes.

· Paper I : Physics & Chemistry (50+50 marks)

· Paper II : Botany and Zoology (50+50 marks)

The questions are multiple choice objective type with 4 alternatives given for every question. The syllabus of the exam is based on the syllabus of HSC Examination of Board of Maharashtra. There are no negative marking and candidate can attempt all the questions.

MAH Medical CET 2013 – How to Apply?

Online Application

Applicants are required to visit the official website at www.dmer.org and download the application form. Applicant should take printout of the application form, fill it completely and send it via mail to the concerned address along with the DD (Demand Draft) of Rs 700 (Rs 500 for ST/SC candidates) for prescribed application fees.

Offline method

Applicants can purchase the admission form from various Educational Institutions of Maharashtra and send in the completely filled application along with DD of Rs 700 (Rs 500 for ST/SC candidates) and other documents at the address mentioned in the prospectus.

The DD should be drawn on any nationalized or scheduled commercial bank in favour of “Director, Medical Education and Research”, payable at Mumbai. Candidate should mention his/her name, phone number and address on the back of DD.

The completely filled application forms should be sent along with all the required documents at the address mentioned in the prospectus in time so that it will reach the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, before the last date of submitting applications.
