ATMA – AIMS Test for Management Admission 2013

AIMS Test is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools as a pre requisite exam for the students for taking admission to various post graduate courses offered by the institutes such as

MBA, PGDM, and MCA.

There are many management and technical institutes spread throughout the county that accept the ATMA score for providing admission to the students into their post graduates courses. This exam serves as a single window for providing admission to various PG courses. Every year there are numerous students that apply for ATMA test.

ATMA 2013 – Important Dates

· Date of commencement of Online Registration: Month of January, 2013

· Closing date for Registration: Last Week of January, 2013

· Date for downloading of Admit Cards from ATMA website: Mid of February, 2013

· Date of ATMA Test: Mid of February, 2013

· Date of Declaration of Results: First Week of March, 2013

ATMA 2013 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for applying to ATMA test are mentioned below.

· Graduation from any recognized institute

· No restriction in the required minimum marks

· Graduate from any stream of study is applicable

· Minimum age limit is 21 years

ATMA 2013 – Structure

The structure of ATMA 2013 Test includes the 170 questions in the MCQ format along with four options. The maximum time allowed for attempting the questions is 180 minutes.

The ATMA paper is divided into six parts including the following.

· Analytical Reasoning Skills: 30

· Quantitative Skills: 30

· Verbal Skills: 25

The candidates should cover each section of the test within half an hour.

There is a negative marking for marking incorrect answers where 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer and one mark is awarded for every correct answer.

How to Apply for ATMA 2013

There are two ways for applying for the ATMA Test 2013 including online and offline application process. The prospectus of the ATMA test is available online on the website and it can also be availed by visiting the coaching centers like IMS or from ATMA office.

The ATMA test bulletin can be purchased by making payment of Rs 900 through some selected banks and branches. It can also be obtained via mail from AIMS office. Once the information kit is collected, candidates should read out the instructions carefully and understand the requirements of application.

In order to apply online, candidates can visit the official site of ATMA, www.atma-aims.org while the offline applicants can obtained the form along with the bulletin from the ATMA office at Hyderabad.

Candidate should send the completely filled application form by ordinary post before the deadline. It is suggested that applicants should keep a Xerox copy/printed copy of the completely filled application form for future reference.
